Hi everyone~
I wanted to check in and thank you all for your lovely, lovely words
of support and encouragement.
Thank you for sharing your stories, your struggles with a loved one or friend,
and for reaching out to me on a very personal level.
Your stories encouraged me and broke my heart at the same time.
It seems that addiction has touched every family in some way.
I so appreciate your honesty and your willingness to talk about a reality
that is so destructive to the core of a family.
To the core of my family, certainly.
I'm going to take time away this summer.
I need to be outside.
I need to get away.
I need to restore order to my home.
I need to cook and paint and sew and travel and just be.
I have to. I need to. I want to.
I won't be opening The Keeping Room until fall, but as always-
you can email me with special orders and I'll be happy to work with you.
I'll be visiting you to stay in touch and follow your summer fun.
Much love to all and enjoy the summer!

You have been in my thoughts Tina, and I have continued to pray for your son and your family. Soak up the restorative power of being outdoors and doing the things that bring you joy. Great big hugs! ~Ann
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a good plan! Praying with you, my sweet.I will email you with an order...
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you are taking time for yourself, Tina. Sometimes if you just step away from a problem you can see and handle it with new eyes. I wish you the best..Hugs, Judy
ReplyDeleteStill sending thoughts and prayers your way. Take time to heal yourself and recover your strength. While resting in the sun think of something new for Samuel De Champlain.
ReplyDeleteI think about you every day, Teen Wolf.
ReplyDeleteI'm sending all the positive energy that I can muster your way Tina. Time can be a great healer, and I pray that it is for you and your family.
ReplyDeleteJust know we're here for you. You will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeletehugs,

Have a great summer, take good care of yourself! :@)
ReplyDeleteSo sorry that you are going through this painful time with your son. Will keep you both in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteTina,
ReplyDeleteA day doesn't go by you are not in my thoughts. I understand the uncertainly, the prayers sent up and the listening and waiting. The entire time you're restless in your heart and stress all around because there is never any certainty, Days of living in hope but feeling in limbo. Tina I'm sending my love.
Vera
