Happy New Year

See the cute little wooden tag?  I ordered them from Pick Your Plum.  I love them!
I ordered four different versions, which I'll show you later this week.
And yes, I took them back from the boys for next year.

George Clooney better be in that bag of yours
or you can hit the road, Big Guy.
(He wasn't.)
You can add Santy Clause to a photo @
www.capturethemagic.com
Very fun.

I'm dreaming of a fried chicken.
(Please sing along)
Throw in some biscuits, gravy and smashed potatoes and I'm a happy camper.
I'd like a spinach salad full of good stuff.
And of course...a chocolate cake.

I've never been a black-eyed peas kind of girl.  I never make them on New Year's.
  Blech.
Bring me luck?  I don't think so.
Chocolate cake is the ticket.

Now, just who is going to cook all this stuff?
I've been sick with a cold/flu for 9 days.
Can I rally for the sake of the cake?

I'll let you know.

Enjoy your champagne at midnight
and know that as I raise my glass of NyQuil to ring in the New Year,
I'll be thinking of you all and hoping that
2013
will be a year filled with health and happy days for all of us.

Cheers! Kiss Noise! Hugs!

P.S.
There were no sheep in my bottle.
Very disappointing.

  2. These photos are gorgeous. It all looks so warm and cozy and well...Chrismasy. And I see that someone's in the kitchen with Santa...;) No Clooney? I didn't get any Depp. The big guy's slippin'. Feel better! Sending you wishes for a Happy New Year, hugs and chocolate cake. Boy does that fried chicken and smashed potatoes sound good. Now let's kick 2013's butt with our cowboy boots, shall we? xoxo

  5. Love this post. My New Years eve is being in my jammies and listening to the freezing rain. So happy not to be out. I do love black eye peas, though and I make a great hoppin john. Hope you feel better, sweet friend.

  8. Tina, that's too funny, the sheep in the spoon. Sorry you are feeling badly and didn't get your money's worth out of your bottle. I hadn't seen that "add Santa to a photo" thing before. I'll pin that for next year. Happy New Year and I hope you feel better soon!
