If you haven't heard,
Ball has released a 100 year anniversary blue jar.
I bought a set of six for $12.99 at
They are $13.99 on Amazon for the set of six.
They are sold out all over and limited edition.
Sellers are asking $15 for one jar on Ebay and Etsy!
I did order another set from Amazon last night, so they are still available there.

I can't wait to see what is next in the line of limited edition jars.
The blue is referred to as "period correct" and look light blue in the ads.
They aren't quite that color- but a richer blue with a touch of turquoise.

How pretty! I just read a tutorial on painting mason jars blue...this would be easier!! (I'm lazy!)
ReplyDeleteI love the old ones- I didn't realize they were 100 years old!
ReplyDeleteHow interesting...I just love love love the color. When I had my kitchen light made, I went with the clear jars, but was so tempted by the old blue in many varied shades
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up T. I got mine today!! I found them at Wegmans for $9.99! My husband was like "ten bucks for jars?" I was all "You don't understand" and then I set him straight. There were only two sets left. Maybe I should go back for the second box. I love the color; I have so much turquoise in my kitchen, they're perfect and they look so nice with my Fiesta ware.
