A few moments to share...

Cookies...
Nutmeg Logs are the go to cookie in my family.
Some people hoard them and hide them.
You know who you are.
Who's that pointing a finger at me?

As you can see, I'm a girl who likes her sweets.

I saw this cookie recipe on Eat Cake For Dinner.  Jenn made them with pink frosting- I made white frosting because I wanted to add some orange zest.  These cookies are big and old timey bakery style.

I did a lot of cooking.

Sophie did a lot of watching.  Very careful watching.

I had to have a peppermint lemonade while I was making soup today.  This will get you in big trouble with your dentist.  Hey, it's Vit C.  It's nutrition.

The caramel pecan sauce is everywhere, but not for long.
I eat it with a spoon.  It's perfection all on it's own.

Hoping everyone had a wonderful Christmas...
Have another cookie and call it a night.

I've got a sugar coma to sleep off.
Sweet dreams, my friends!

  5. Mrs.R!
You know they're all gone! Magoo ate the last one today. Why don't we eat these all year? We need to start a new tradition for Valentine's and maybe the 4th of July to break it up a little. Ya think??? I thought of you with each and every one I popped in my mouth!

  9. Tina,
those look so yummy! I have not seen a cookie cutter with that edge on them since my Grandma's. She made round cookies with that design on the edge every Christmas.
