Henry

For all of you that have enjoyed our funny boy, Henry-
we lost him last week.
We are heartbroken and so are Sophie and Bruce.
It's so hard to believe that he's gone.

We miss you, Ginger Man.
I hope you've been welcomed over the Rainbow Bridge
by Virgil and Izzy.
Go play, silly boy.

I'll leave you with the following 1981 video of Jimmy Stewart
reading a tribute poem about his dog, a Golden Retriever named Beau.

There was no greater love than between Henry and a tennis ball.

Hug your fur babies extra tight today and throw a ball for Henry,
the Ginger Ninja.

  10. Tina,
so, so sorry for your loss! They are our family and we love them. When they go, they leave an empty spot in our hearts that cannot be filled. He was blessed to live with you and I know he had a wonderful life.

  14. Tina, I'm crying. I've never met Jimmy or Bo.

I've never met Henry. I've never met Tina.

But I love you all. Hugs to you, my friend.

    Love, Andi

  15. Oh Tina, my first time here and you made me cry. That is the only problem with loving a pet - they go before us. As I write this I see my two sleeping on the couch, even though they just got up and think about what is to come. I wouldn't change a day with them but it will be hard to live without them.

  19. I could barely stand to look at the pics Tina - just heartbroken for you.
AND I had a post going up with Jimmy Stewart's " Beau " poem this week - made John watch it a couple of days ago - when I turned around he had tears running down his cheeks. How bizarre that we both ( you and I ) thought of that video at the same time? Connected - we are SO connected.
I've hit delete - Jimmy and Henry belong here...........
Big big hugs to you Tina.....
    XOXO

  22. I'm so sorry you've lost one of your babies. I have a Corgi boy named Ducky who looks just like Henry and I'd be lost without him. Sadly, I really do know how you must be feeling - we just lost our little cat a couple of weeks ago, her name was Ginger and one of her nicknames was Ginga Ninja just like Henry. I'll be heartbroken over her for a long while, as I'm sure you will be over your loss. I'm sure he had a great life with you and is frapping all over heaven!
