Giveaway Time

It's been too long since I did a giveaway, right?
You know I don't like to do "normal" giveaways, so I won't start now.

This time,
I'm asking what you want, girlfriends.
How about that?
Then I'll shop my sewing room for you.

Have you been looking for a particular junk find?
Maybe I have one.
Maybe I've been keeping it just for you.

Maybe you had your eye on something I've made.
Or embroidered.
Yes, I can make one for you.

Would you like reverse images for transfers but can't make them yourself?

And then there are the vintage linens.
And new linens.
Fabric for miles.

Think, ladies, think!

So go ahead now....entertain me.
Don't be a fraidy cat.

Any entries with "Oh, you pick for me!" will not entertain me.
I expect more from you, dear creative friends.

All entries for this giveaway will be automatically entered for
The Big Booty Prize on June 7.
(Details later)

Bruce, Jack Henry and Sophie are off limits.
Devastating turn of events, I know.

Yes, I made this.
It's a new Miranda Lambert song that I love.
I know you are a fan of it, too...or you wouldn't be here. ;)

Winner will be chosen on May 1.

  2. But you know that I'd be delighted to deliver it to your door, Theresa! Ya big scare baby!

  3. How fun that you asked! I'd be thrilled with an embroidered apron, the saying would be something fun like "wicked chickens lay deviled eggs" or "football calories don't count"... Thanks for the great give-away Tina and I'm glad to hear Jack Henry isn't up for grabs:@)

    1. Lynn, as much as you cook you need many aprons! Little Jack is a keeper.

  4. I thought about the many little things I keep, like old skeleton keys, bird items — eggs, feathers, small bird sculptures, seeds/flowers, then I saw your rusty bed spring. I don't have one of those. I also liked the Oak and Acorn embroidered piece from Sunday, November 23, 2014. I would like to see that as a small piece that can be slightly stuffed and hung from a cabinet or door knob. Just the embroider in the center of a piece of fabric. I could make the ornament. But the best thing of all was the item you showed on Tuesday, November 25th, 2014 entitled "Reach Out Your Hand". THAT would be the ultimate prize. I hope I didn't make it too difficult for you! Thank you for the opportunity to win!

  7. What if I don't actually win Bruuuuce, but he could come up for a visit? What about tea towels embroidered with a house number? In my case I always refer to my house as "411"... that way everyone would know whose towels they were...

    1. You will have to pry my Brucie Boy from my cold dead hands, Cheryl! LOL
I love the idea of numbers on tea towels.

  8. Well, I can't believe you eliminated my favorite 3! :) This is a wonderful giveaway with soooo many options. I would choose one of the embroidered towels, a Santos doll for sure and perhaps a monogram.

Thanks so much for the opportunity!

  11. Squirrels dancing around the Maypole!?! So that's what they are doing out there in the yard. I would love a bag of distressed fabric with either a transfer or embroidery with a squirrel or bird. I am not one to be to shy to demand what prize I might or might not receive. Shouldn't Jack Henry be a consolation prize?

  16. I think we need a sign for public restrooms. "Please respect the one-stall rule."
Or, signs to go above each spouse's bath towel. "Your towel" "Don't touch my towel"
Or, how about "Stop talking. I can smell your BS from here."
    "Wine: It's what's for dinner."

Yep, I think that should just about do it.
