Christmas Apron Giveaway

Hoping this finds you all well and not in a holiday frenzy!

I have a quickie giveaway for you for this morning
that I think you'll enjoy.

This apron is rough linen with red striping,
has a large pocket in front and is knee length
with ties in the back.
I have embroidered it with cream and green
and added two matching pot holders.

A spiffy holiday baking outfit just for you
or a great gift for someone else this season.

Of course, you'll need to add your own Santa hat. ;)

Hmmm, what ridiculous question can I make you answer?

Since this giveaway is baking related, how about telling me what your
favorite childhood cookie was and what your favorite is now.

Easy enough and I might be inspired to bake up a new cookie or two!

Just leave your comments and I'll reveal a winner on Tuesday, Dec. 6.
and ship it out that day.

Good luck, friends!

  3. Wedding cookies warm from the oven rolled in powder sugar. Hmmm, may have to make some of these this year. All-time favorite is no-bake chocolate oatmeal cookies known around here as lunchroom lady cookies because we were served them once a week in the school cafeteria. Happy baking!

  5. What a beautiful apron and thoughtful giveaway! As a child my favorite cookie was probably a traditional chocolate chip and it is still up there but as my tastes matured I find I love shortbread cookies, gingerbread and coconut macaroons. I have to admit that cookies are my vice, I actually love them all!

  7. I love this apron! My favorite as a kid was Archway Molasses. My grandma Hazel always had them at her house. Now, I have broadened my horizons, as well as my derrière.

  8. I was always a peanut butter cookie girl and still am, although old-fashioned soft molasses ginger cookies come in a close second. The apron is gorgeous, by the way!

  10. The apron is beautiful. It is inspirational, for sure. Lots of people are having a hard time with the whole concept of Christmas, this year. Things like this help us all to remember what it's all about. The giving and the sharing and the spirit that we should all hang onto all year round. Thank you for the opportunity to win this lovely apron. Ranee (MN)

  14. Aw, Tina. I won one of these in a giveaway a couple of years ago and it is my most favorite holiday apron EVER. Tina, you do the most beautiful work...and I can attest to that on more than ONE level- I have seen your handiwork at my daughter's house, too. I have to ask you though- what kind of embroidery machine do you have? It does most awesome job! Amazing machine....and user!!!

Good luck to everyone. Whoever wins will be a lucky, lucky person. xo Diana

  15. You did a great job on the apron Tina, it's beautiful! Stella Doro used to sell an assortment that included a shortbread type cookie with a chewy strawberry jam type center. They don't make them anymore-boy I miss them. As for now, honestly, I like any one that works for me! Cookies have become my nemesis, spreading and flattening out. Happy Baking:@)

  16. What a beautiful apron. Thank you for the chance to win. My favorite cookie when I was little was peanut butter because that's the only kind my mom made. When I started baking, I made chocolate chip cookies and they're my staple. But, at Christmas, I like to make peanut butter cookies with a chocolate kiss on top. I guess I'm combining my favorites!

  18. I love this! I have a "thing" about aprons ~ they remind me of my grandmothers. Special memories of them cooking/baking, laughing and sharing! I think the first cookie I fell in love with was Pecan Sandies/Mexican Wedding cookies & I still love them. Now I love old fashioned sugar cookies with frosting. A dear friend of mine makes the most divine sugar cookies! We used to live in the same apt complex and she walked over in the midst of snow and ice to deliver my Christmas cookies! She moved back to Syracuse to care for her parents at the same time I moved here. Christmas??? A huge, beautiful container of sugar cookies! :)

You are so creative and talented! I would LOVE to win ~ :)

  19. Oh I love aprons and this one is adorable!! When I was a child my mom was anti-sweets so cookies at Christmas were a big deal. I love the ones with silver sprinkles on top...pretty sure I had no idea what those were but thought they were special. Now my favorite is the really soft iced sugar cookies. Yummy!

  26. What a beautiful apron! My favorite cookie to bake as a child was a peanut butter cookie, but as an adult my favorite now is the Italian chocolate clove cookie...YUM!

  27. What a lovely apron Tina. I would look so good hanging in my kitchen. :) My favourite cookie was and still is my mom's Finnish Piparkakut gingerbread cookies. The cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves always made the house smell so wonderful when I was a little girl. Now every Christmas I get a cookie care package to take home. They're so good dipped in tea. Yum!! Can't wait to get this year's cookie care package.

  29. I have a wicked sweet tooth and love just about all cookies...LOL I don't like cookies that have tons of icing on them though...beautiful to look at but the icing seems to overpower the taste of the cookie! Love and hugs!
